Six Feet Under: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Doreen St. Felix New Yorker Now is the time to raid the canon. May 9, 2020 Full Review Six Feet Under: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Linda Stasi New York Post Luckily, God invented Alan Ball, the brilliant mind and pen behind American Beauty, and now Six Feet Under, HBO's er, groundbreaking newish show. Ball is not afraid of death. Really. Mar 30, 2020 Full Review Six Feet Under: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) John Doyle Globe and Mail What happens is droll and wryly comic on the subject of death. It's good, not great, so far. Mar 30, 2020 Full Review Six Feet Under: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand It’s a family drama that uses its distinctive setting as a lens. From the first episode... creator Alan Ball uses humor (some of it on the dark side) to mine raw emotions, frayed relationships, frustrations, and fears with moving compassion. Mar 8, 2024 Full Review Six Feet Under: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Alan Pergament Buffalo News Like a summer beach book that is impossible to put down. Each member of the Fisher family has evolved during the final seven hours. Rated: 4/4 Mar 30, 2020 Full Review Six Feet Under: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Sarah Terez Rosenblum PopMatters Maybe Six Feet Under isn't the first series to unfurl like a novel, painstakingly, artfully destabilizing our understanding of the point-of-view character, but if another one as successful exists, I can't think of it. Ronda S Funny and sad...watched it when it originally aired years ago. Rewatched entire series and was surprised by forgotten bits. Even more enjoyable the second time around. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Katie B I watched it when it originally aired...and then watched it again 20+ years later. I would not recommend binge watching this series as it grapples with many heavy topics. I don't remember it being so heavy and depressing, but back in the good, old days- you had a week between episodes to "absorb" the messages. This show tackles the subjects of death, mental illness, addiction, emotional abuse, trauma, homophobia, and many more. Don't try to watch these episodes back to back all day long. You will be overwhelmed. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/28/23 Full Review Cindy J The characters were very messed up and not likeable. They just make bad decision after bad decision and then spiral. Not that interesting. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/20/23 Full Review Pablo Y Conmovedora, graciosa y trágica. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/23 Full Review Max W I LOVE all the characters. I love their synergy and charisma AND I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF MICHAEL C HALL Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/12/23 Full Review Bruno V Adoro séries das antigas, pois essas são as melhores. Essa série é perfeita também, pois Michael C. hall está presente. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
